Our Direct Saver Fixed Rate Bond offers you protection from the ups and downs of interest rates by giving you a fixed rate of interest for the full term of your investment. Upon maturity the account will become a no notice access account. We will let you know the rate of this account prior to maturity. You will not be able to make any additional deposits into this account.

Calls are charged at your service provider's prevailing rate and may be monitored and recorded.

1. DIRT will automatically be deducted at the standard rate (currently 30%) from interest paid/credited to your account, unless you are eligible and have registered to receive interest gross by completing a DIRT Exemption Declaration for each account you hold.

2. AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and shows what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and added to the capital balance each year.

Balances that fall below €1,000 will receive interest at the prevailing basic savings rate, currently 0.10% gross per annum. Interest earned will be subject to DIRT at the prevailing rate.
