Product Summary

Our Direct Saver Fixed Rate Bond offers you protection from the ups and downs of interest rates by giving you a fixed rate of interest for the full term of your investment. Upon maturity the account will become a no notice access account. We will let you know the rate of this account prior to maturity. You will not be able to make any additional deposits into this account.

Direct Saver Fixed Rate Bond is available for the personal use of all Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 years or over. Savers can choose to have their interest paid annually or monthly, and you can also have access to your money (subject to a charge).

To take advantage you must invest right away. This Bond is a strictly limited issue and will be withdrawn once fully subscribed, so we can't guarantee availability for everyone.

1. DIRT will automatically be deducted at the standard rate (currently 25%) from interest paid/credited to your account, unless you are eligible and have registered to receive interest gross by completing a DIRT Exemption Declaration for each account you hold.

2. AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and shows what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and added to the capital balance each year.

Balances that fall below €1,000 will receive interest at the prevailing basic savings rate, currently 0.10% gross per annum. Interest earned will be subject to DIRT at the prevailing rate.
